Pea Knight: Get A Potato has launched! Yay! 

This was a project I started spur of the moment due to a game jam (specifically the Dying MMO Game Jam) that I.. accidentally missed the deadline by a day and decided to put in extra time to polish.

So here it is! Right now it's in a very initial prototype type state where the basics of combat, enemy AI, basic UI, and shop UI are implemented. 

Iteration Plans:

-Clean up back end systems. Due to initially planning to blitz this out for a gamejam, large chunks of the system especially for interaction got really messy. I want to go back and fix it and extend it out a bit more!

-Upgrades through the shop! This includes increasing damage of the player as well as upgrades to make the enemy more difficult to accumulate money faster

-Throwable items

-Controller compatability & spell aim with mouse setting. Spell aim is limited to 8 directions due to WASD limits and want to give that more analog control.

Even further and beyond plans:

-Use what was learned here to begin development on a more elaborate adventure action game! The heavy game inspirations would be top-down Zelda games, Hyper Light Drifter and Death's Door.


Also launching this on the same day as Elden Ring ended up extremely funny in announcing it. Made a joke key art just for that occassion.
